No Wonder You Were Afraid to Ask #53- Jillian “JJ” Simmons (JJ on the Mic) – Without Bruises I would’ve Never Found My Purpose in Life!

Today’s Inspirational Interview is brought to you by Jillian Simmons, Founder of JJ’s I’m Me Foundation and SingleMomsRock.com My main website is: www.JJontheMic.com You can also catch me on Instagram at @jjonthemic

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Traveled due to my career which led me here. I’m passionate about empowering young women and girls to be the best version of themselves.

I wrote a book called Without Bruises: A Journey to Hope, Help and Healing it takes you on my turbulent journey through a relationship with a sociopath and sheds light on the often missed signs of emotional and mental abuse. In a grueling, year-long battle with depression and with the help of family, friends and a life-changing therapist, I was able to rise from the ashes better than before. I bounced back with a stronger sense of self, purpose, and power, and it is my mission to share a message of hope with the world.

Without Bruises is a must read for anyone questioning the power dynamic in their relationship. It gives guidance and direction to those who have been bruised and broken at the hands of another person, and it offers compassion and understanding to those who love someone currently being abused.

The thing I am really proud of is raising a child who loves to give back.

Here are my upcoming events!
