What has been the most difficult thing you’ve had to go through in your life.

The most difficult thing I have had to go through in my life could be broken into two different stories and scenarios. One; coming out to my parents as gay and two; losing my grandmother. Both of these scenarios took a huge effect on me.

What did you learn from it that you could pass on to someone else?

The one thing that I learned from these experiences is, make your decisions wisely and spend time with those that matter the most…Because tomorrow is never promised.

What has been the Happiest Moment of your life?

The happiest moment of my life is winning the Spirit of Matthew Award from the Matthew Shepard Foundation. I received the award because of my dedication to mental health and suicide prevention and making the world a better place by erasing hate and discrimination.

What is your Passion?

My passion is to help others; regardless of who or what they are.

What inspires you?

Inspiration comes in all forms, shapes, and sizes. To me, my inspiration is my Mom. She has been through a rough spot or two or many in her life, but she kept pushing forward. That.. Is inspirational to me.

How do you try to inspire others?

I try to inspire others by sharing my story and voice and passion with the world in hopes to inspire others to do exactly the same thing, or something even better.

One non-profit you support?

One nonprofit that I support is the Matthew Shepard Foundation. The foundation has been great to me over the last couple months and has been there as a support system for not only myself; but the entire LGBTQ+ community and allies. The foundation erases hate and discrimination and replaces it with love and compassion.
