This Inspirational Moment brought to you by Amanda Edwards, British Columbia, Canada

What has been the most difficult thing you’ve had to go through in your life.

At the age of 23 I went through a horrible divorce with the father of my oldest daughter. I struggled with feeling like a failure but also knowing that I had to fight to do what was best for my daughter and myself. I had to find a way to raise my daughter full time while putting myself and my life back together.

What did you learn from it that you could pass on to someone else?

I learned that I am so much stronger than I ever imagined. That I was capable of taking care of myself and my daughter and I was able to do it really well. I learned that if I could learn to love and respect myself that others would follow suit. Now I am remarried and have a healthy relationship with my oldest daughters father and stepmom.

What has been the Happiest Moment of your life?

There are so many but one of the happiest moments was when me and my fiancé at the time(now husband) were dancing in the living room and my oldest daughter looked at us and smiled and said it looks like you two are getting married. It made me realize that she now knew what love and marriage were meant to look like.

By being real and vulnerable about myself and my journey. By showing the flaws rather then just showing the flawless selfies and by trying to connect with women everywhere who are struggling to love themselves in a world constantly telling them not to.
