What was the moment you realize that you wanted to go vegan?

It wasn’t really a moment but rather a process of education. Coming from diet primarily based on meat, eggs and dairy products it took me a couple of months to fully understand it. Once I understood and realized that it is for better for my own health, the planet and obviously the animals I went vegan.

How long have you been Vegan?

One year. I started in September 2015.

Why is being Vegan important to you?

It is important to me because it directly affects my health, the animals, and the planet.

Do you have a blog or favorite vegan blog you read?

I prefer YouTube and my favorite channels are Vegan Gains, Patrick Reiser, and Mischa Janiec.

Any recommended Vegan books?

Any recommended social sites, Facebook Groups or other?

I prefer YouTube the most. So again Vegan Gains, Patrick Reiser, and Mischa Janiec.

Do you actively promote veganism? How? Please share any stories you would like.

I primarily promote it on Instagram and I’ll start YouTube soon.

Do you miss any non-Vegan foods?

Not at all!

What is your favorite Vegan stereotype? If someone asks you a question about it, how do you respond?

The typical malnourished, protein deficient, weak and sick vegan. I tell them that I’m in the best shape of my life and a vegan actually increases your health a lot. Furthermore, most of the top level athletes prefer a plant-based / vegan diet (Novak Djokovic, Nate Diaz, Mischa Janiec, Patrick Reiser, Kendrick Farris, Patrik Baboumian etc..)

What’s your favorite Vegan restaurant?

“Ginko” in my hometown of Graz.

What’s your favorite recipe? Please share it.

Simple smoothie: Bananas, a pineapple and a tablespoon of coconut oil.

What is the one big stereotype you hear about Vegans that you want to dispel?

That they are weak, malnourished and suffer from all kinds of deficiencies.

Some encouraging words for new Vegans?

Educate yourself as much as possible!

Are you a cruelty-Free vegan?

What are you favorite Vegan non-food products or companies?

I love all products from PuraDyme and LifeFood.

What is the toughest Vegan item to find that you need?

The Internet offers everything so nothing is really tough to get nowadays :D.

What is one question you would ask other Vegans? Please answer it.

Who is your biggest inspiration in the vegan community? Mischa Janiec & Patrick Reiser.
