How long have you been vegan?

I am 7 years old and have been vegan for 4 years.

What made you go vegan?

My mom told me what happens to the animals and I no longer wanted to participate. 

Why is being vegan important to you?

Because it helps the animals and the planet.

How do you educate yourself about veganism and animal rights?

Well, I basically listen to what other activist say during marches and different events. Also, I watch videos and documentaries.

Do you take part in any activism?

Yes, I do cubes, disruptions, vigils, marches and Veg Fests. I also use social media follow me on IG at @vegg_ian.

What types of peer pressure do you feel at school for being vegan?

I am homeschooled.

Are a lot of kids curious about veganism?

Yes, because kids don’t want to hurt animals.

What is the toughest thing about being a vegan?

Explaining veganism to nonvegans.

What has been your best vegan moment so far? 

Receiving my first Animal Hero Kids award.

Do you believe children are the key to creating a vegan world? How can we make this happen?

Yes, because children are very smart and they are our future and they can share with all their friends. 

We can make it happen by telling them about being vegan and helping animals.
