What was the moment you realize that you wanted to go vegan?
This is quite a funny story. Back in 2015, I decided to “Debunk” the vegan diet. I thought it was unhealthy and unsustainable. So I went vegan for 7 days expecting to feel rubbish. Since I lost a ton of weight back in 2010 (picture attached) I have always eaten “healthy” so I honestly thought during this 7-day experiment I’ll put on a ton of weight or even perish. Alas, I was proven wrong and I love it. After the 7 days was up, I had more energy than ever, my skin looked great and I felt happier. Since then I have never looked back. From that point, I incorporated the ethical side too.
How long have you been Vegan?
Why is being Vegan important to you?
I came to veganism via health. Many people in my family suffer from heart disease. With the test that I have had since turning vegan, I am now bucking that trend.
Any recommended Vegan books?
Yes, the Vegan Bible cookbook
Any recommended social sites, Facebook Groups or other?
I have to admit I am not a huge fan of online groups. I find that they can be quite argumentative and quite nasty at times. However, I do like vegan recipe groups on Facebook and pages on Instagram: @vegan_cutz
Do you have a favorite movie or videos or your own media that you want to share?
I LOVE V for Vendetta. Here is my Youtube Channel I make 3 videos a week related to veganism
Do you actively promote veganism?
I do a lot online and with my non-vegan personal training clients in my local area. However, I use a very low key approach. I allow people to view how well I perform and thrive while being vegan. By using the law of attraction I have turned people vegan without even say a word to them. I feel like I am a walking, talking billboard of veganism and its personal benefits. This helps turn more people vegan than it does by either the shock factor or arguing with them as most people just shut off to that approach.
