Artists You Need to Know: Ana Christy – A Collage a Day Keeps the Doctor Away, Two Collages a Day Keep Two Doctors Away!

Ana Christy is a “beat” poet, and novelist, with more than 40 books of poetry. With her late husband Dave Christy, she was co-editor and publisher of “Alpha Beat Press.” They published books and literary magazines.

She had three poetry tours of the U.S. and of Europe, and her work has been studied in Soviet Georgia. Previously a long time resident of New Hope, Pa. Ana moved to the quiet Victorian town of Belvidere, N.J. where she lives with her boyfriend, her trusted cat, and her revered Stylus.

“I create digital collages from surreal, character studies to humor, GIFs, and videos. I try to be as varied as possible, it also depends on my mood. Art has unlimited possibilities and boundaries. My brain is my imagination and the computer screen is my canvas. A collage a day keeps the doctor away, two collages a day keep two doctors away!”
