Ana Christy is a “beat” poet, and novelist, with more than 40 books of poetry. With her late husband Dave Christy, she was co-editor and publisher of “Alpha Beat Press.” They published books and literary magazines.
She had three poetry tours of the U.S. and of Europe, and her work has been studied in Soviet Georgia. Previously a long time resident of New Hope, Pa. Ana moved to the quiet Victorian town of Belvidere, N.J. where she lives with her boyfriend, her trusted cat, and her revered Stylus.
“I create digital collages from surreal, character studies to humor, GIFs, and videos. I try to be as varied as possible, it also depends on my mood. Art has unlimited possibilities and boundaries. My brain is my imagination and the computer screen is my canvas. A collage a day keeps the doctor away, two collages a day keep two doctors away!”

What is one meal or food or meal you could eat every day and not get tired of?
My favorite food is Indian, the spicier the better. I could eat it every day.
Do you have a nickname? How’d you get it?
My nickname is “Kipper Feet.” When I was little I got lost in a department store. When asked by the police what my name was I said “Kipper Feet!”
Have you ever been told you look like a celebrity and did you ever use that to your advantage?
Dave, my husband and I were in San Francisco and a few people asked me if I was Grace Slick. I got a free ride on a tram and a free lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf.
What is your favorite scent?
Lavender. The scent reminds me of the English countryside, where I grew up.
What is one law you would do away with?
I would legalize pot. I suffer from chronic nerve pain and pot is the only thing that works.
